  • While it's important to be flexible and to adapt the process to the project this is generally what we'll do and the order we'll do it in.

    CONFIRM PROJECT

    After agreeing on the general scope, timeline and fee, we can confirm the project and begin work.

    PROJECT SET-UP

    Create Google drive folders for page copy and asset sharing. Share collaborator access to Shopify site.

    DESIGN & BUILD DRAFTS

    Create design drafts for homepage and other pages included in scope, receive feedback, update.

    4

    FEATURE BUILDS

    After confirming general UI and design through mock-ups, build and test in JavaScript, liquid, HTML and CSS.

    5

    SEO WORK

    Complete all meta page titles, meta descriptions, image alt tags and HTML heirachy to conform with SEO best practice.

    TEST & LAUNCH

    QA process for testing before pushing new builds live. Please ask for details on the QA process for testing projects.

Project tools

  • CLOUD

    Using a cloud such as Google Drive to share project assets and copy. 

  • COMMUNICATION

    Use of Zoom or Google Meet for video calls and Slack & email for general project talk. 

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    Managing the project tasks with lists in Slack, Google sheets or Trello.

  • SHOPIFY

    Access to parts of client Shopify admin to create development theme.
